Meet Dr. Parisa Rahmanian

Dr. Parisa

Dr. Parisa Rahmanian is a native of Iran but has called the United States home since she was 14 years old. She graduated with her DDS from the prestigious dental program at the University of Southern California in 1996. Over the past 20-plus years she has built a dental practice based on not only impressive results but on providing a gentle, caring, and pain-free experience for her patients, as well. As a client here at Fresh Dental Care, PC, you will be treated more like a friend and accepted as part of the family.

Although Dr. Parisa offers dentistry for the whole family, she specializes in cosmetic dentistry. She loves to create beautiful smiles for people and see the improvement in their confidence and self-esteem. She also has a heart for her community and volunteers her time and skills with the AK Dental Society’s “Care to Share” Program. This is a program that provides free dental care and services to all in need. She has also participated in Anchorage’s Mission of Mercy program providing free dental care to the public at large.

Dr. Parisa’s travels have included providing dental care in such international locations as India and Costa Rica, and closer to home in Kotzebue, Alaska, and other smaller surrounding villages. Her volunteer efforts have been honored by Alaska Governor Bill Walker. In 2017, she received an award “In Recognition for Excellence in Community Service” by Bridge Builders of Anchorage. Finally, she stays up-to-date on current dental innovations through continuing education in implants, crowns and other areas of cosmetic dentistry.

Giving back to the community at large is very important here at Fresh Dental Care, PC. Dr. Parisa Rahmanian likes to help people in need, especially children. They are near and dear to her heart, and their overall well-being is a concern of hers. She feels that they are the future and knows they will pass things on to new generations. To that end, she has volunteered her services in India, Costa Rica and various Alaskan villages. She has even participated as a provider in Anchorage’s Mission of Mercy, which reaches out to underserved Alaskans in need of dental care. Please contact our office at 907-276-1050 if you are interested in learning how you can help.

Daniel Corral

Daniel Corral, our office supervisor, came to us here in Anchorage via Los Angeles. Prior to joining our team he worked as a nursing assistant for several years and completed coursework in that field as well. He is bilingual in English and Tagalog and has a passion for lifelong learning. He is currently pursuing a degree in business management and has also been training with Dr. Parisa for the past year in dental assisting. He enjoys the outdoors, road trips, traveling to visit his family and basketball.

Tammy was born and raised right here in beautiful Alaska. Right out of high school she began working for a dental office being a dental assistant. She was really drawn to the field and decided to attend the Dental Assisting Program at UAA and graduated at the top of her class. She spent 20 years as a dental assistant. After that, she transitioned to the administrative side of things, doing the insurance and billing. With 33 years total in dentistry, she has a lot of knowledge to share and likes to help patients understand their own insurance benefits and get claims paid. Tammy was fortunate enough to stumble across Fresh Dental Care and became part of their wonderful family as the insurance, treatment coordinator and billing specialist. She is happy to be a part of such a caring and dedicated team.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her small but close family. She has a grown daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter who lives close by, and mother that lives in the Valley. For fun, she enjoys making her own jewelry, painting, crafts, cooking, watching movies and playing with her toy MultiPoo dog named Abby.
